About
GlobetrottingFundraiser
Legacy giving is not about death. It’s about continuity, values travelling forward when people can’t. If that sounds a little lofty, good. Leaving a gift in a will is one of the most intimate decisions a donor will ever make, and charities have no business treating legacy fundraising like a polite afterthought, a dusty brochure, or the “we’ll get to it once other campaigns calm down” project.
I launched GlobetrottingFundraiser in January 2019 because I was tired of having to convince nonprofit leaders that legacies matter, only to watch them treat the work as an afterthought, or worse, as the golden goose whenever a gift finally came in. I’m here for the charities that want to do this properly: strategically, ethically, and without the latest fad nonsense.

I help charities and international NGOs build legacy fundraising programmes that are evidence-led, data-informed, and designed to survive the next leadership change, the next budget cycle, and the next reorg.
My work spans more than 15 markets and covers the full spectrum: organizations launching their first legacy program, those rebuilding after years of neglect, and those ready to scale what’s already working. Every engagement comes down to the same things: internal readiness, good data, ethical donor engagement, and a plan your team can bring to the board with confidence.
I don’t do campaign-in-a-box work. I don’t sell templates dressed up as strategy. And I won’t tell you what you want to hear when the evidence says otherwise.

Research and evidence
Alongside my consulting work, I’m completing a PhD at the University of Kent, researching how trust, power, and distrust shape donors’ decisions to include charitable gifts in their wills. This research directly informs my practice, so what I recommend to clients is grounded in current evidence, not sector folklore.
Proud of my achievements
The personal bit
I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina and grew up in Montréal, Canada. I am now based in Gore, Québec, a small countryside town north of Montréal, by a lake where I share my house with Leo (dog), Blanca and Zela (senior cats). I am fluent in English, French, and Spanish... I get by in Portuñol!
When I'm not working, I'm probably fixing something around the house, gardening, planning my next trip, or catering to Leo's whims.

I earned my CFRE designation
The Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) credential is the only globally recognized professional designation for philanthropic fundraising professionals. Administered by CFRE International, it demonstrates to employers and donors that a fundraiser has mastered core competencies, adheres to strict ethical standards, and is dedicated to the sector.
Honoured By Their Trust
Ready to stop hoping and start building?
If your organisation is serious about legacy fundraising, not just interested in it, let's talk about what "ready" actually looks like for you.

Thinking out loud
Legacy fundraising is full of myths, borrowed tactics, and comfortable assumptions. This is where we challenge them.
